Update KJ The Hague #5: the baseboard is ready

The baseboard is ready
At the beginning of October, we poured the last part of the 5th floor slab. Structurally, we have now completed the most complicated phase. From now on, the towers will really start to take shape.

At the Park Tower, we are now on the 9th floor. By the end of this year, we aim to exceed 50 meters in height. The tower on the Nieuw Babylon side is slightly behind schedule but progressing as planned.

Work on the facade has started
In early October, the first facade elements were assembled in the factory. Recently, the first elements arrived in The Hague and were installed. You can see this clearly on the Rijnstraat side. The facade is not yet complete; next year, we will install the characteristic vertical concrete strips.

The final sprint has already begun
Once the building is sufficiently wind and watertight, we will start with the interior finishing. The observant viewer may have already seen the packs of plaster on the floors. The ambition is to start installing the first interior walls around Christmas.

Our working hours are typically from 07.00 to 16.00 hrs
According to the building permits, we are allowed to work from Monday to Saturday between 07.00 and 19.00 hrs. In practice, this is usually from Monday to Friday from 07.00 to 16.00 hrs. Occasionally, we may need to work outside of the permitted hours. In such cases, we always coordinate with the municipality and inform you in advance.
